Find X3 and Find X3 Pro are the much-awaited smartphones from OPPO. The flagships are confirmed to launch in March with Snapdragon 888 SoC ticking at their core. Rumours are rife that these two new OPPO phones will be camera-centric and tout Sony’s 50MP sensor with a 25x zoom telephoto sensor, an ultrawide unit, and a macro sensor. 2. OPPO F19/ F21 series

OPPO is reportedly working on new F-series smartphones, called OPPO F19 and OPPO F21. The OPPO F19 is said to launch in March alongside OPPO F19 Pro, while the OPPO F21 will be announced at a later stage. OPPO F19 and F19 Pro specifications are still under wraps but we hear the phones will come with 10x lossless zoom. The handsets are expected to come as successors to the OPPO F17 series from last year.

This comes a few days after the model appeared on the FCC certification website where the phone’s key specifications and design were revealed. Other details revealed via FCC include the battery capacity, dimensions, and connectivity features. Now, the Geekbench listing reveals key OPPO CPH2205 specs, including the chipset, RAM, and software version.

It’s an unknown upcoming OPPO mobile phone – CPH2205 is its model number. The handset will tout mid-range specifications such as MediaTek Helio P95 chipset coupled with 6GB RAM under the hood if its FCC and Geekbench listings are anything to go by. Additionally, these listings also confirm that the OPPO smartphone will sport a 4,310mAh battery, a 48MP quad-camera system, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE. It’s likely to run ColorOS 11 atop Android 11 out of the box to take care of the software side of things.

OPPO also seems to have a lighter variant of the Reno 5-series down the pipeline, which will be referred to as OPPO Reno 5 Lite. The handset was allegedly spotted on China’s 3C certification with PELM00 model number and 30W VOOC 4.0 charger. While there is no word on OPPO Reno 5 Lite specifications yet, it’s said that the smartphone will be slotted below OPPO Reno5, Reno5 Pro, and Reno5 Pro+. The Reno 5 Pro was recently launched in India with a price tag of Rs 35,990 for the sole 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.

5. OPPO PEHT00.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 launch came as a bit of a surprise to everyone, as it was the first-ever Snapdragon 4-series chipset with 5G connectivity. It was also hinted that the chipset would make its debut alongside an OPPO, HMD Global, or Vivo phone. Now, we have come across an OPPO phone on Geekbench that could be running the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G chipset. The OPPO PEHT00 phone manages to net a single-core score of 522 and a multi-core score of 1,513. Previous OPPO Geekbench listings have told us that any device whose codename starts with the letters ‘PE’ is almost always a Chinese variant. The listing also tells us that this particular variant has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 11 out of the box.

The OPPO PEHT00 phone has been listed with the ‘holi’ motherboard which is the codename for the Snapdragon 480 SoC. This isn’t the first time we’ve stumbled upon an OPPO smartphone bearing this codename. Tipster Mukul Sharma aka Stufflistings found a smartphone with the same codename in the 3C database. The listing told us very little about it, other than the fact that it is 5G-enabled and supports fast charging at 18W. There appears to be another variant in the works too, called the OPPO PEHM00.

Given the very limited information around the device, it is hard to determine what the mystery OPPO phone has in store for us. We can, however, say with utmost certainty that this is an entry-level smartphone as Qualcomm Snapdragon 4xx chips are tailor-made for such devices. Speculation has it that the phone will likely be a part of OPPO’s A series of smartphones, which makes sense. We should know more about this mystery OPPO phone in the coming days, as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 is expected to make its debut sometime in Q1 2021.
